Bernard Neville, Ph.D., is Adjunct Professor of Education at La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia. He uses Jungian theory in both education and organizational consulting and has wide experience in both areas. His 2003 essay, “Taking Care of Business in the Age of Hermes,” anticipated the 2008 economic collapse (Trickster’s Way Journal, 2:1). He is the author of two books, Educating psyche: Emotion, imagination and the unconscious in learning(1989), and Olympus Inc.: Intervening for cultural change in organizations (2008) co-authored with Tim Dalmau. The latter book gives a fuller discussion of the gods introduced here and their relation to Jungian archetypes in organizational settings.
